Insurance
Bloom Therapy participates in several insurance payor networks including: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and United Healthcare PPO.
Although Lisa is in-network with all of these payers, it does not necessarily mean she is in-network with every plan that they offer. Specific plans may be added or removed from a particular network. Sometimes, individual plans may even have a ‘carve out’ for behavioral health. This means that behavioral health services, including therapy, could be provided by a different network than that of your regular insurance plan payor/provider.
The best way to determine if Bloom Therapy is in-network with your plan is to call your plan directly. Lisa can bill your insurance directly as an in-network provider if they tell you that she has in-network status. When you call your insurance company, you can ask them to verify if Bloom Therapy LLC (Elizabeth F. Elliott) are in-network for your plan.
Many clients see us as an out-of-network provider. In this case, Lisa is unable to bill directly to your insurance provider. You are responsible for paying directly for services, after which Lisa will provide you with documentation needed to get reimbursement from your insurer (typically 60-80%).
Sliding Scale
Finances are a huge barrier to accessing mental health services. For many, finances get in the way of healing and wellness. A sliding scale is a flexible fee structure that considers each client’s circumstances and need when determining pricing.
Bloom Therapy LLC reserves at least 15-20% of their available appointment times for clients in need of sliding scale service fees. Bloom Therapy’s sliding scale services fees range depending on your insurance coverage status, your income level, the number of dependents you care for, your other regular medical costs, and the identities you hold. Priority for sliding scale appointments is given to LGBTQ and GNC identified individuals, and new parents in mental health distress due to change in mood during or following pregnancy, birth trauma, or pregnancy loss. Regardless of whether you pay a full fee, or a sliding scale fee, you will receive the same attention and high-quality care. Please let us know if you would like to discuss sliding scale fees.
